Valeriy Borovyk

Valeriy A. Borovyk is Chairman of the Board of the Alliance “New Energy of Ukraine” and
a leading Ukrainian expert in energy, defense, and space technologies. He has held senior roles in the oil and gas sector, co-founded and directed multiple energy and tech organizations, and since 2014 has led First Contact, a company producing drones, UAVs, and electronic warfare systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Under his leadership, the Alliance has expanded into renewable energy, defense, and space, including the development of Hall-type electric rocket propulsion systems and international satellite projects. He cooperates with leading European defense enterprises, and continues to drive projects in unmanned systems and space intelligence. Borovyk is also a Masdar (UAE) prize winner in alternative energy, author of two books, and an active sports and philosophy enthusiast.
